Symposium
Our annual symposium is intended to broaden the community's awareness of Bowen Theory and provide practical knowledge to people working in health care, social work, clergy, business, and community organizations. The symposium also launches an eight month training program in Bowen Theory.

The Training Program is for students who want to establish a firm foundation in Bowen theory and learn to apply it in their personal lives and in their professions. Over time the student is expected to demonstrate the integration of Bowen Theory in personal functioning. Individuals use the Training Program to further goals and projects and to address challenges in their family and their professional work. CEUs are available through the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga.
Lunch & Learn
Our Lunch & Learn is a monthly forum where we explore each of the eight concepts once a month for 8 months. The speakers are chosen from our faculty and Training Program participants who have gained a working knowledge of the theory and have demonstrably applied the theory in their lives. These sessions run once a month, on a Friday, January through August.
Advanced Clinical Training
Our Advanced Clinical Training Program is for advanced students who want to learn systems models for clinical purposes. It meets once a month for 8 months, for three hours at a time. There is also an opportunity to monitor supervision with an experienced coach, four times a year. Completion of the program provides an opportunity to apply for a faculty position.
Counseling & Coaching
Our Faculty Members are available for private coaching sessions for families and/ or businesses.
